Distance Sales Agreement
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This Distance Sales Agreement (the “Agreement”) is prepared under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts (the “Regulation”). It forms a whole with the Terms of Service, the Pre-Contract Information Form and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

BUYER
The individual or legal entity who provides their details on the order form and in the Client Area when ordering. The Buyer’s name or company name, national ID or tax number, address, phone and email are recorded in the order and form an integral part of this Agreement. A “Consumer” is an individual or legal entity acting for purposes outside their trade or profession.
2. Subject of the Agreement
This Agreement covers the sale and performance of web hosting, server, domain registration, SSL certificate, business email, and software and licence services (the “Service”) that the Buyer orders electronically on tiklaweb.net, and the rights and obligations of the parties. The type, term, main characteristics and total price (including or excluding VAT) of the Service are shown in the order summary and confirmed by the Buyer.
3. Nature and Performance of the Service
- The Services are digital services provided electronically, with no physical delivery.
- The Service is activated automatically, or within a reasonable time, after payment is confirmed; in any case the performance period cannot exceed 30 days from the order date. For services that depend on third-party approval, such as domains and SSL certificates, activation depends on those organisations’ processing times.
- Unless stated otherwise, the price is charged in advance for an annual term. Services are not renewed automatically unless the Buyer pays; a renewal invoice is issued and the Buyer is notified.
- Rules on the use of the Service are in the Terms of Service.
4. Payment
Payment can be made by credit/debit card (domestic and international cards) through the PayTR secure payment infrastructure, bank transfer/EFT, or account credit. Card details are not seen or stored by TiklaWeb. For foreign-currency payments the exchange rate at the time of payment applies. Any commission or exchange difference from the payment institution is shown in the order summary.
5. Right of Withdrawal
- A Buyer who is a Consumer has the right to withdraw from the Service contract within 14 (fourteen) days of the contract date without giving a reason and without paying any penalty. The period starts on the day the contract is formed (the order is confirmed).
- The right is exercised by email to info@tiklaweb.net, by written notice to the postal address above, or through a cancellation/support request in the Client Area. It is enough to send the notice within the period.
- For services whose performance began at the Buyer’s request and with express consent before the withdrawal period ended (for example, activating a hosting account), the Buyer pays a proportional amount for the part performed up to the notice date if they withdraw; the remainder is refunded.
- Services for which the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised: The right cannot be exercised in the cases listed in Article 15 of the Regulation. These include (i) domain registration and SSL certificates, which are personalised at the Buyer’s request and registered or issued with suppliers and cannot be taken back; (ii) services performed instantly in electronic form and intangible goods delivered instantly; and (iii) services whose performance began with the Buyer’s consent before the withdrawal period ended. The Buyer accepts that they were informed of this before ordering.
- Refunds that TiklaWeb offers for services other than domains and SSL are set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. That policy does not reduce a Consumer’s statutory rights.
- For a Buyer who is not a Consumer (a business customer), no statutory right of withdrawal arises; commercial refunds are subject to the conditions in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Refund Procedure
If the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, payments made by the Buyer (after deducting any proportional usage amount) are refunded by the method of payment within 14 days at the latest of the notice reaching TiklaWeb. For card payments, the time for the refund to appear on your account depends on your bank. For payments made with account credit, the refund is made to the account credit balance; the Buyer may separately request a refund of the balance (only transfer costs are deducted). No refund is made for services that cannot be refunded, such as domains and SSL.
7. Buyer’s Declarations
The Buyer declares that, before ordering, they were informed clearly and understandably by the Pre-Contract Information Form about the main characteristics of the Service, the total price including or excluding VAT, payment and performance, the right of withdrawal and the cases in which it cannot be exercised, and complaint and application routes; that they confirmed this information electronically and approved the order; and that the information they provided is correct.
8. Default and Force Majeure
If payment is not made, the Service is suspended and deleted according to Article 6 of the Terms of Service. In cases of force majeure the parties are not liable for their obligations. If TiklaWeb cannot perform the Service within the promised time, it notifies the Buyer and, at the Buyer’s request, refunds the amount paid.
9. Personal Data
The Buyer’s personal data is processed in accordance with Law No. 6698. Details are in the Personal Data and Privacy Agreement.
10. Dispute Resolution
For disputes arising from this Agreement, a Buyer who is a Consumer may apply, within the monetary limits announced annually by the Ministry of Trade, to the consumer arbitration committee at the Buyer’s or the Service’s place of residence, and for disputes above those limits to the consumer courts. For Buyers who are not Consumers, the Istanbul (Küçükçekmece / Bakırköy) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction.
11. Entry into Force
By confirming the order electronically, the Buyer declares that they have read, understood and accepted all the terms of this Agreement. The Agreement takes effect on the order confirmation date. An electronic copy is sent to the Buyer in the Client Area and by email and is kept for at least 3 years.
