Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This policy explains the cancellation and refund terms for TiklaWeb services. Please read it together with the Terms of Service, the Distance Sales Agreement and the Pre-Contract Information Form. Your mandatory rights under consumer law cannot be limited by this policy.
1. Non-Refundable Services
Domain registrations, renewals, transfers and SSL certificates are non-refundable. TiklaWeb rents or buys these products in advance, in your name, from third-party registrars and certificate suppliers. Once registration or issuance is complete, the supplier does not take them back or refund the cost. For this reason no refund or withdrawal is possible for these services after ordering. For cases where the service has not been registered or issued at all, see section 5.
2. Refundable Services
Web hosting, servers, business email, software and licence products can be refunded. The terms depend on the type of customer, as follows.
2.1 Consumer customers
- You have the right to withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of the day the contract is formed (the order is confirmed).
- If, at your request and with your consent, the service was started before the withdrawal period ended (for example, a hosting account was activated), a proportional amount for the time and service you used up to the notice date is deducted and the rest is refunded. The proportional amount is calculated from the ratio of days used to the total service term.
- When software or a licence is refunded, the licence is cancelled, the right to use the files and code delivered to you ends, and you must delete all copies you hold.
2.2 Business (non-consumer) customers
- No statutory right of withdrawal arises. TiklaWeb considers refund requests made within 7 days of the payment date that are based on a valid reason.
- Examples of valid reasons: the service does not work as described in the order summary and this cannot be fixed within a reasonable time; the service could not be activated at all; duplicate or incorrect charges; TiklaWeb is unable to provide the service.
- Change of mind, choosing unsuitable software, or an ordering mistake is not by itself a valid reason, but you may still send us your request and TiklaWeb will assess it at its discretion.
- A proportional amount for time and service used is deducted.
3. How to Request a Cancellation
Send your cancellation or refund request to info@tiklaweb.net from your registered email address, through a support request in the Client Area, or in writing to Atatürk Mahallesi Dilek Sokak No: 12 Door No: 5, Küçükçekmece / ISTANBUL, Türkiye. Please include the order or service number and your reason, if any.
4. End-of-Term Cancellation (Non-Renewal)
To avoid renewing a service, it is enough to tell us before the term ends. A non-renewal request does not mean a refund of the paid term; the service ends on the last day of the paid period and the data is deleted.
5. Cancellation Before Activation
If you have paid but the service has not yet been activated and the domain or SSL order has not been sent to the supplier, you can cancel the order and the full amount you paid is refunded. For domain and SSL orders already sent to the supplier, no refund is made.
6. Account Credit Refund
Your account credit balance is refunded on your request. Only bank transfer or payment-institution transfer costs are deducted; no other deduction is made. The refund is made by the method used to load the balance, to an account in your name.
7. Refund Time and Method
- Approved refunds are made by the method of payment within 14 days at the latest of the request being approved.
- For card payments, the time for the refund to appear on your account depends on your bank.
- For bank transfer payments, the refund is made to a bank account in your name; we may ask for the account details.
- For payments made with account credit, the refund goes to your account credit balance; you may separately request a refund of the balance.
8. Cases Where No Refund Is Made
- Suspension or termination of the service because you breached the Terms of Service (termination for just cause).
- Services in section 1 of this policy, such as domains and SSL.
- A duplicate refund where a bank dispute (chargeback) is filed for the same payment after a refund request.
- Requests not made in time (after the withdrawal period for consumers, or after 7 days for business customers), outside TiklaWeb’s commercial discretion.
9. Defective Service
If the service is provided contrary to the characteristics stated in the order summary, your rights as a consumer under Law No. 6502 (such as having the defect fixed, a price reduction or withdrawing from the contract) are reserved. Please contact us first and document the problem.
