How to register a domain name

This guide walks you through searching for a domain name on TiklaWeb and adding it to your cart for registration.

1. Search for the domain

On the Domains page, choose the "Register" tab, type the name you want and press "Search". If you do not type an extension, results are listed for popular extensions.

Each result shows whether the extension is Available or Taken, together with its yearly registration and renewal prices. If a name is taken, try an alternative extension.

2. Add to cart and pay

Click "Add to cart" next to an available domain, review your cart and continue to payment. You need a customer account to place an order; if you do not have one yet, see our guide "How to create an account".

3. Registration is completed

Registration starts once your payment is confirmed, and you are notified by email when it is done. You can manage your domain from the domains section of your client area.

Tips

• Choose short, memorable names that are easy to spell; avoid hyphens and digits where possible.
• Consider registering other extensions that matter for your brand.
• Registration and renewal prices can differ; both are shown in the results.
• Some extensions (for example .tr) may require additional verification.
